Often called Weekend Market or smply JJ by Thais is one one the world’s largest weekend market. Here you can find almost everything you need at bargaining local price. It’s a large area visited each day by more than 200.000 persons. Divided into “themes areas” you can find Clothes, Books, Antiques, Stones, Hill Tribes Outfit, Pets, Plants,Ceramic, Home Decorations, Fresh and Dry Food and Drinks and many other miscellaneous.
To get there: BTS to Mo Chit or MRT to Chatuchack Park
Chatuchak Market is open:
Wed-Thu (plants and flowers) 6 am – 6 pm
Fry 6 pm – Midnight
Sat- Sun 6 am – 6 pm
Khlong Toey Fresh Market
Probably the biggest and nicest fresh market in Bangkok where you can experience fresh food such as fish, vegetables, fruits. Incredible the energy and the atmosphere of a place who distributs food all around the city. Take a seat in some of the restaurants inside of it and admire its colors and its electric life!
To get there: BTS to Kloeng Toey station
The market is open 24/7 but we suggest you to visit it in the morning.
China Town Market
Known even as Sampeng Market or Yaowarat this market is a trilling place where you can find everything bejond your imaginations. The huge numbers of vendors, locals and tourists makes it one of the most busiest places in town. Prices are really convenient and the typical chinese atmosphere with its variety of street food will delight your visit especially during the chinese’s new year.
To get there: Taxi boat to Ratchawong Pier and then 5 minutes walking.

Klong Suan Old Market
More than a market this is a living museum. 100 years of history offering you a authentic taste of thai culture. Few tourists reach this place where instead you will find crowd of young Thais who enjoy leave the city to find some cute stuff, food and fun in an old scenario just 20 minutes from Bangkok airport.
To get there: Best way is Taxi
Open from early morning to 4 pm
This market is another major market selling clothes , shoes, fashionaccessories at wholesale prices. In this shopping experience you will find vendors working their sewing machines, packing and unpacking orders of t-shirt, dresses, suits, winter jackets and costumes.
To get there: From BTS Ratchatewi about 15 minutes walking.
